The Bicep boys and celebrated English techno duo Simian Mobile Disco have met minds for the collaborative new single “Sacrifice”. Seeing a release on June 24th via Delicacies, the near 9-minute track is a conspiring one that, upon hearing, is easy to demarcate which team brought what to the table in terms of elements. Around the two and a half minute mark is when the techno mover reaches the beginning stages of its glory, sounding off with a riveting analogue line on top of an incessant 4×4. Really, the combined 4 producers offer up something that you’d be stupid not like.

Bicep – Feel It

If any one or group of producers are responsible at any degree for the upsurge of 90s revivalist, deep House, it has to be the Bicep duo. The Visions of Love EP was a hit worldwide and is still a go to listen when I’m craving this type sound. The Irish pair’s recent mix of unreleased tracks has resulted in a popular request of the song below. “Feel It”, intrinsically a NY/UK Grime crossover, was produced last year, but Bicep have decided to master it and release it for free download. Check it out if you’re feeling deep.

I love EP teasers that incorporate a visual element, especially when the visuals precisely match the feel of the music. Under their new blog-turned-label Feel My Bicep, Irish House duo Bicep are set to release the Vision of Love EP slated for a September 24th drop.
