Friendzone – ‘Kuchibiru Network 3’
James Laurence and Dylan Reznick, or Friendzone – the rising hip-hop production pair out of the Bay Area, have released the third Kuchibiru Network mixtape. Scrolling through the 20 track project and noticing the diversity of artists might make the mixtape seem a little suspicious as far as expecting a cohesive mixtape, but I guess that’s not the aim with this sereis (I’m unfamiliar with the previous Kuchibiru Network‘s). What this tape does seem like is a forewarning message of what this year might sound like, or a “best of” of the underground as of right now. Kuchibiru Network 3, which includes new material from Ryan Hemsworth, Jerome LOL, Keyboard Kid, Main Attrakionz and of course Freindzone, will satisfy beat cravings of all sorts for near time.
