Sango – “Nujabes Juke”

Read the original post on Hilly Dilly

Juke is a genre that most of our deliberate readers might not be all too familiar with or even enjoy. But this is Sango doing it, of course in the most creative fashion, letting the track breathe from the genre’s expectedly relentless hi hat ticks at points, taking away the low end foundation here but then reestablishing the rhythm with bass hits measures later. Perhaps the most special aspect of “Nujabes Juke” is the sample of a song originally produced by the late, great Japanese producer Nujabes. Exchange a Facebook like on Soulection’s page for a download of this heater. Oh, and expect the new LP, North, from Sango to be released on Soulection in the near future.
